What can you do if the defendant's lawyer threaten you?

I have a case before the courts in Anson County North Carolina for the forgery of a boat title that belong to my deceased son. His signature had been forged on the title and transfered into the name of the defendant. I hire a retired SBI Agent whos entire career has been in the Field of Forinic Doent Examination with 35 years service with the SBI and the US Treasury Department. He is now in private practice. This man testified at the trial that the title had been forged. That it was an attempt to simulate my sons signature. After the case was heard in district civil court the judge found in favor of the defense. I filed a motion for a new trial. The verdict was not justify because the evidence proved that the title was forged. The lawyer for the defendant has treaten me on several occion that if I don't drop my appeals against his client he will have me jail without bond. Can he do this?
