What are your favorite old wives tales?

my my says onions so withput asking me she will not add them or tell the waitress to leave them off (mine) i am like YES i want onions and shes like wel your baby ( i am 22 weeks along wil lhate it) thing is i really dant want the them but now have to eat them lol
